CBC Historic Pub Tour (w/Photos)

The Charleston historic pub stroll went off without a hitch last night.  The turnout was unusually low for a CBC event.  There were only 8 that attended, a far cry from even the low number of 15 that had ‘accepted’ the evite.

What appeared to be a negative, quickly was realized as a positive.  Our size was ideal for the tour guide to delve deeper into detail and at certain points of the tour give us an option of two destinations to choose from. He was knowledgeable of the background on each, but allowing us to choose made sure we were getting the best experience we could have.

We visited Bootleggers, Tommy Condons, The Griffon, Charleston Beer Exchange and The Blind Tiger.  Some of the pubs we heard history on were no longer standing, but nonetheless there story was equally impressive.

All photos are available in the Photo section of the website.

Thanks to Alan for being our tour guide and thanks to all that showed up to make the event happen.  Good times!
